Just a few weeks ago, Domenico Winery opened the doors of its second location – a very special winery and tasting room in Amador County. Their grand opening event brought folks from near and far to experience the family-owned winery’s newest chapter, nestled in the town of Ione, California.
Amador County, located in the Sierra Foothills of California, is known for producing high-quality wines, particularly Zinfandel – a variety winemaker Domenick is very passionate about. The region’s warm climate, combined with its well-drained, granitic soils, creates ideal conditions for growing robust and expressive Zinfandel, along with other exceptional grape varieties.
The Domenico team – who long tended vineyards in Amador County – are beyond excited to have a home in the Amador community. And their gorgeous new space, endless wine, and great vibes have made an impression on the community for sure.
